It all began about eighteen years ago, when Walter and his wife wanted to create an environment where their three children could have fun, get exercise, and spend quality time with Mom and Dad. The Meeks solicited the help of several pool companies who all appeared to have nice pools; however, Walter quickly realized that there were large deficiencies in the areas of honesty, integrity, affordability, and customer service. More alarming, however, were the noticeable deficiencies in the actual engineering of the pool which included a lack of proper knowledge of fluid mechanics and structural reinforcements. Armed with his knowledge, he decided to build his own pool. His pool was so attractive, in fact, that several of his friends had asked him to build their pools as well. By the end of the year, he had fallen in love with working outdoors and felt he had found the perfect avenue for his academic and professional training, so he founded Pool Quest.

Since the beginning, Pool Quest has continued to grow, yet Walter has held onto the same principals of knowledge, honesty, integrity, affordability, and customer service upon which the company has been built. Pool Quest has maintained an unblemished record with the Better Business Bureau.

Walter understands the importance of family and do everything possible to treat your family as his own. The Meeks have made their home in your community and even given back to the community through projects such as the Dream Home. Pool Quest designed, built, and donated everything necessary to build the pool for the Dream Home.

Just as times have changed, so has swimming pool technology and construction techniques. At Pool Quest, we have a full time, state registered professional engineer on staff as well as a pool construction consultant. The net result is over 45 years of combined engineering and pool construction experience.
